Trout Park has been the home of baseball in Elgin since the early 1900s. Over its long history, the field has undergone several renovations and improvements that have transformed both the playing surface and the spectator area into one of the the finest amateur baseball fields in the Chicagoland area. Recently installed 85-foot-high lights shine brightly into the night, serving as a call to those traveling through urban traffic, or as an oasis for weary workers passing by on Interstate 90 to pull in and catch a few innings before heading home. A full-service concession stand, staffed by local high school and college students, adds culinary pleasure to a day or night of great baseball for fans and families of ballplayers. Trout Park plays host to tournaments of all sizes from Invitationals, to high school, college and even the international CABA World Series. Stop by our ballpark to support local high school and college players, watch a tournament or just enjoy a game of baseball in a beautiful setting.
