Trout Park Baseball Tournaments
Welcome to Trout Park in Elgin, IL. The GPS address of our facility is 576 Trout Park Blvd., Elgin, IL 60120. We are conveniently located off of I-90 at the Rt. 25 exit. We are one block south of the I-90 exit ramp on the west side of Rt. 25. Our lights are visible from I-90.
Trout Park is a host site for several tournaments during the spring, summer and fall. Trout Park is one of the oldest baseball fields in Illinois with the first known documented baseball game being played in 1891. That is 23 years before Wrigley Field.
Trout Park has added the modern conveniences while keeping that traditional baseball field charm. We want and enjoy a competitive tournament. We host ages 14U though college age players. Competitive baseball helps prepare these young men for high school, college or professional baseball in conjunction with life's future challenges. Coaches, umpires, tournament officials, parents and adult spectators all work in unison to send a positive message to the players. Please keep this in mind during the course of our tournament.
Trout Park may be one of several Chicago Metro fields hosting your tournament. Games may also be scheduled at other fields in the immediate area. Some tournaments may have a gate fee and your cooperation is appreciated to assist in deferring these costs.
Please refer to your tournament bracket for field locations and the tournament master website for directions.
No batting practice is allowed at the Trout Park Baseball field during the Tournament. We do have 2 turfed batting cages beyond the left fence with room to throw and loosen up before your game. No metal spikes are allowed in the cages. No pregame infield is allowed during the tournament in order to complete the games within the specified time allowed. No balls may be hit against fencing and no swinging bats on the field grass with your spikes. Please use the gravel pathways for bat swinging.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can call (847) 919-083. In the event of rain or inclement weather, please contact your tournament director.
